On Ye Sheng-tao's Education Conception of Chinese Language

语文教育本身有一个完整的系统。全面而又准确的认识语文教育,就要涉及到包括对语文学科性质、文道统一、语言与思维、听说读写之间的关系等诸多问题的认识与处理。叶圣陶先生对这诸多问题都有所论述。他的观点,主张对于指导当前的中学语文教学有着十分现实的指导意义。

The education of Chinese language is a complete system. In order to recognize it in an all-round way, many problems such as the characteristics of Chinese language,the unity of writing and ethics, language and thought, and the relationships of listening, speaking, reading and writing should be recognized and dealt with. Ye Sheng-tao has made discussion on these problems.His opinions and advocates have realistic instructive singnificance for the teaching of Chinese language.
