五四时期“人的觉醒”与“人的文学”探析

Analysis of “Human Awareness” and “Human Literature” in The May 4th Movement

“人的觉醒”是五四新文化运动思想启蒙的一个重要主题,也是反对封建旧文化的一个重要收获。这一思想成果深刻地影响了中国现代文学,这便是“人的文学”的诞生。但是,时代、个人与作为参照的西方文化的特殊性决定了“人的觉醒”问题的复杂性,从而决定了“人的文学”的复杂面貌。

Human awareness” was an important theme of ideological enlightenment in the May 4th New Culture Movement, and an important harvest against feudal old culture. This thought influenced deeply Chinese modern literature, which embodied the birth of “human literature”. However, the particularity of era, individual and Western culture as a reference decided the complexity of the “human awareness” problem. Thereby, it decided the complexity of “human literature”.
