摘要
光前置放大器在强度调制——直接检测(IMDD)系统中的应用,使常规的IMDD系统灵敏度接近了同类外差接收机的指标,而在系统可靠性、稳定性和成本等方面则优于外差接收系统。本文从理论上分析了IMDD系统光前放接收机的噪声和灵敏度特性,给出了具体计算公式。这些计算公式均以系统元部件可测参数来表示,因此对实际的系统设计和性能评价有重大实用价值。
The application of optically pre-amplified receiver in conventional Intensive Modulation-Direct Detection (IMDD) systems makes its sensitivity close to the sensitivity of heterodyne detection systems. The noise and sensitivity in conventional IMDD systems with optically pre-amplified receivers are analyzed theoretically. Formulas based on the directly measurable parameters of the system are proposed, which can be applied to system design and evaluation.
