By means of the developed null-balance servo micropressure measuring system, we investigated the blood pressure of arterioles in the mesenteries of 51 toads and 5 frogs. The distribution of the average and pulsatile pressure of microvasculature with varied diameters (the minimum=14u) was obtained. With the thining down of calibers of vessels, the descending rate of the pulsatile pressure tends to be slower than that of the average pressure, and the ratio of pulsatile pressure to average pressure incremental. Taking the indexes of the average pressure and pulsatile wave, we observed that Noradrenaline and Tolazoline have saparate effect on the arterioles. Noradrenaline results in the rising blood pressure after the declining of the pulsatile wave, whereas Tolazoline acts by way of incremental pulsatile wave and finally generates declining blood pressure. The arteriolar pressures are characterized by the wave-like properties which become obvious when the calibers of the arterioles thin down under 100μm. The alternate pressure changes of the tidal and pulsatile fashions were found under the contingent condition, and the changes entirely synchronized with the blood flow. These features of microvascular pressure might provide some microcirculatory phenomenons for 'The Blood Billowyly Irrigating'.
