Experiences and lessons from deep foundation pit excavation

天津某工程主轧机基础是意大利皮昂蒂公司设计、中方施工的工程。由于缺乏软土地区施工经验,在基坑开挖后,基础桩发生了严重位移。本文介绍该工程主轧机基础施工的主要过程,简要分析基础桩位移原因,总结应吸取的经验教训。

The foundation of the main rolling mill for a project in Tianjin is designed by Pianti Com pany, Italy, and constructed by Chinese side. Due to a lack of experience of performing construction in soft soil areas, serious displacement of the foundation piles took place after the excavation of foundation pit started. This paper gives an introduction of the process of construction of the foundation of main rolling mill, briefly analyzes the reasons for foundation pile displacement and sums up the experiences and lessons that should be drawn.
