A Rectangular Element for the Bending of Medium-thick Plates

本文以Reissner-Mindlin理论为基础,推导出一种计入横向剪切变形的矩形板单元。数值算例表明,它对于工程中的薄板、中厚板均能得到令人满意的数值结果。

Based on the Reissner-Mindlin's theory, a rectangular plate element with the effect of transverse shear deformation is described. Satisfactory numerical results are obtained by applying the element to analysing thin and medium-thick plates in engineering structures.
