It is an important part of production and business for large and medium sized metallurgical enterprises to weigh goods and materials coming in and out. As commonly used means of measurement,the static track platform scale is superior to the dynamic one as the latter is of relatively large error. The paper introduces the working procedure and the design of hardware and software of the single-chip processor AT89C51 used to monitor the measuring process of the track platform scale,which turn out to be practical.
