A catalyst made of activated carbon impregnated with cobalt phthalocya- nine sulfonate and used to remove mercaptans from jet fuel can be used for long on stream period through a proper regeneration method. The service life experiment was carried out for one year and the activity of the catalyst still remains satisfactorily high.
