DISCUSSION ON EXPANDED BED MTBE PROCESS WITH LOW METHANOL-OLEFIN RATIO

本文介绍了低醇烯比膨胀床MTBE装置的试生产过程及其反应器的特点,并对生产过程中的一些工艺问题进行了初浅的探讨,特别是对反应醇烯比、反应温度等操作条件的选择、产品质量的控制以及提高烷基化装置原料质量提出了一些独特的见解。证明了该合成工艺路线是可行的,同时对装置的工艺改进提出了一些初步的看法。

The trial run and the features of the reactor for expanded bed MTBE process with low methanol-olefin ratio are described. Moreover, some opinions are advanced for the selection of proper methanol-olefin ratio and reaction temperature, the control of product quality and the enhancement of feedstock quality for alkylation unit. The commercial test has confirmed the feasibility of this synthetic MTBE process. Some suggestions for im- provement are also put forward.
