摘要
In 1996, the Yunnan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and other institutions carried out excavation in the Sunjiatun cemetery. The 70 tombs excavated are all small-sized rectangular earth pits without clear evidence of coffins. The grave goods are sandy pottery vessels, rather low in firing temperature and blackish-brown or grayish-brown in some cases. They belong to the pot, jar, single-eared jar, double-eared jar, fu cauldron, single- or double-eared fu, small dish and other types, with the jar and pot accounting for the majority. Thermoluminescene dating shows that the cemetery dates from 4000--3500 BP and belongs to the late Neolithic Age.
