中国出生性别比异常的特征分析

Characteristics of the Abnormal Sex Ratio at Birth in China

利用对中国人口有代表性的、最新资料 ,分析中国出生性别比异常的变化趋势和人群、地域特征。我国出生性别比持续异常 ,主要表现为第二及以上孩次的出生性别比的升高 ,其中只有姐姐的婴儿出生性别比异常升高情况最为严重 ;且随时间的推移越来越严重 ;从地域分布来说 。

Using data from the China 2001 national family planning and reproductive health survey provided by State Population and Family Planning Committee and 0 95 per thousand random sample data from the 2000 census of China provided by State Statistic Bureau, the current study depicted variations in sex ratios at birth (SRB) over time, across regions and for various other characteristics. The results showed that SRBs in China were continually abnormal high, especially for second or higher order births, and extremely high SRBs occurred to the births who had only elder sisters. These abnormally high SRBs became more and more serious over time, and the situation was the most serious in east China region and south China region; and in south China region, even SRB of firstborn children was abnormally high in 2000. There were quantitative data suggesting the induced abortions partly result in the abnormal high SRB in China.
