摘要
永恒主义教育哲学的代表人物是美国的教育家赫钦斯等人,该理论认为在人类社会存在着"共同人性",因此在教育上极力主张"复古主义",强调让学生学习古人的伟大著作来提高学生的理智能力,为社会培养道德高尚的人,来挽救现代社会的命运。该理论强调让学生在教师指导下学习古典永恒学科,注重学生理智能力的培养,但对学生学习现代科学文化知识重视不够,难以适应现代社会对人才的要求。
The American educationalist Robert Huntchins is the representative of the perennialism, known as an educational philosophy. The perennialism claims that humanity exists in the human society. For this reason, its followers do their utmost to advocate 'the doctrine of revision'. And they emphasize that educators should teach students to read the great books written by the great ancients in order to improve their ability of reasoning, and to save the modern society with noble morality. Although the hypothesis argues for the dissemination of classic courses, it fails to give sufficient attention to the modern knowledge.
