热插拔就是在系统运行的情况下进行外设板卡的插入与拔出,减少了系统更换、维护和升级的时间,这对电信与数据通信等的关键系统尤其重要。介绍了CompactPCI热插拔的基本工作原理,并分析了Linux下CompactPCI板卡热插拔驱动程序的设计过程。
Hot-Swap is an ability to insert and extract a peripheral board from a running system.Hot Swap reduces the system downtime due to failures,maintenance,or upgrades and it has the great significance in critical mission component of telcomm and datacomm system.The basic theory of CompactPCI Hot-Swap and its Linux device driver designing process are described.
