Affected by the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997, South Korean economy suffered an immense loss. In order to handle the economic problems arising from the financial crisis, South Korean government took various steps and achieved fruitful results. The success of this financial reform greatly promoted the recovery of South Korean economy. It is imperative for us to conduct an analysis of the case of WURI Bank. By doing so, we may find out the effect of the financial reform in South Korea from indirect sources and explore the means of financial cooperation between China and South Korea.
