在传统的城乡分割的二元社会结构体制下,农民工成为中国现代化社会转型中的特殊范畴。伴随着经济社会的快速发展,跨区域进城务工经商的农民工愈来愈多,农民工在为城市发展做出巨大贡献的同时,却没有获得相应的合法身份和公平待遇。因此正视农民工目前的处境并给予其相应的国民待遇是中国社会转型期的重要任务。

Under the regime of social duality construction in traditional section between town and country,'peasant workers' becomes a special category in social transformation of Chinese modernization.With rapid development of social society,peasant workers,who go into cities for jobs or engaging in trade trans-regionally,become more and more.They make great contributions for cities development,but do not receive legal status and fair treatment in return.So it becomes an important assignment for us in the period of social transformation to face their situation now and give them national treatment.
