Clinical evaluation of Tono-Pen tonometer

摘要 目的 评价Tono -Pen眼压计的临床应用价值。方法  93例青光眼患者的 93眼纳入本研究 ,分别进行了Goldmann眼压计和Tono -Pen眼压计的测量。对两种眼压计的测量结果进行比较并评价Tono -Pen眼压计的特异度与灵敏度。结果 两种眼压计测量值相差范围 -12~ 8mmHg ,差值的绝对值≤ 2mmHg占 61 3 % ,≤ 3mmHg为 75 3 % ,≥ 7mmHg者 5 4% ,总体相关系数 0 944(P <0 0 0 1) ,眼压≤ 2 1mmHg ,Tono -Pen眼压计偏高估计眼压 0 70± 2 3 1mmHg (P <0 0 5 ) ,2 2~3 0mmHg ,Tono -Pen眼压计偏低估计眼压 1 71± 3 15mmHg (P <0 0 5 ) ,>3 0mmHg ,两种测量手段所得结果无差异 (P >0 0 5 )。Tono -Pen眼压计的特异度与灵敏度分别为 93 6%和 84 8%。结论Tono -Pen眼压计可用于青光眼的筛查 ,但不适合用于其诊断和随访。 Objective To evaluate the clinical usefulness of Tono-Pen tonometer.Methods 93 eyes of 93 patients with glaucoma were enrolled in the study.Goldmann tonometry and Tono-Pen tonometry were performed respectively in each subject.Comparisons of the Tono-Pen readings to the Goldmann ones were taken and in the mean time,specificity and sensibility of Tono-Pen tonometer were evaluated.Results The differences between Tono-Pen and Goldmann readings ranged from -12mmHg to+8mmHg.Overall we found 61.3% of the Tono-Pen readings to be within ±2mmHg of the Goldmann tonometry results and 75.3% to be within ±3mmHg,while 5.4% were within at least ±7mmHg difference.The correlation coefficient between the readings of the two instruments was 0.944( P <0.001).There were significant differences between the two tonometers in the ≤21mmHg interval(0.70±2.31mmHg, P <0.05)and in the 22~30mmHg interval(-1.71±3.15mmHg, P <0.05),but not in the >30mmHg interval.The specificity and sensibility of Tono-Pen tonometer were 93.6% and 84.8% respectively.Conclusions The Tono-pen tonometer can be used in glaucoma screening,while it′s not suitable for the diagnosis and follow-up procedure.
