摘要
本文在最简方案的框架内 ,从英语疑问句的句法特征和移位两个方面讨论了英语疑问句的生成机制及其在二语习得中几个不同阶段的句法变异。认为在学习者的内部语法出现CP之前 ,句法结构内没有进行移位操作的条件 ,话语中的疑问功能只有通过在 VP或 IP之后加声调的形式来完成。CP从最小标注到标注完善需要几个阶段 ;对 CP标注完善的过程就是一个连续‘假设 -验证’的过程。本文还认为 ,语用中的隐含句虽然和句法中 IP特征出现前的短句在表层形式上近似 ,但他们的深层结构差别很大 ;句法研究和语用研究位于同一个连续体的不同层次上。
This article, within the framework of MP, discusses the relationship between the generative mechanism and its representations of interrogatives in L2 acquisition. Before the emergence of CP and the movement of I within the learners’ mental grammar, the interrogative function is only carried out by the rising tone at the end of a statement since there is no place for AUX to move into yet. The acquisition of CP, syntactically from minimally to fully specified, is a re cyclic process of ‘hypothesis evaluation’. However a study from the view of MP concentrating on the parameter setting in the mental grammar is quite different from a pragmatic study, in which a highly inexplicit CP may have the same overt form as a VP though the tree structures in both cases are quite different.
