摘要
音段音位音变指在一定的语音语境中元音和辅音发生的变化 ,音系学称音段协调发音。主要包括邻音相似 ,语音同化 ,省音 ,增音和连诵。音段音变是自然口语的一大特征 ,是语音在连续语流里音段层面平行传递的必然结果。音段音变使语流更加流畅 ,同时也增加了言语听辨难度。本文通过描写和对比英语和法语中语音音段音变现象 ,观察音段音变在语言中的共性与差异 ,分析音段音变与语境之关联。
Segmental sound change refers to the changing of sounds of vowels and consonants in a given phonetic context. It includes: similitude, assimilation, elision, epenthesis and liaison. Sound change is an important feature of natural oral language and it is the result of parallel transmission of the sounds in the connected speech. This essay will define the relation between segmental sound changes and their phonetic contexts by describing the sound changes in English and French and by observing their similarities and differences so as to find some rules of segmental sound changes in language.
