The cutting parameters of PDC Bit, such as cutting area and removing rock volume, are fundamental and important data while designing bits. The previous ways of getting these parameters were through programming with mathematical analysis. Using Pro/TOOLKIT, we developed specific module in Pro/ENGINEER. So we can measure the parameters with the function of Pro/TOOLKIT upon the basis of creating correlative entity.
