摘要
JEPG是当前应用最为广泛的静止图像压缩编码技术.实现分层渐进是图像压缩编码技术应用的必然要求。本文概述了JPEG图像压缩编码技术的总体框架,提出了一种基于JPEG的分层渐进图像压缩编码方法。最后通过实验对该方法和传统的JPEG图像压缩编码方法进行了比较。
As the most widely used static photographic compressing and coding technology, JPEG (Joint Photographic Expert Group) technology is strongly demanded to realize progression and hierarchy in its application. This paper outlines the framework of JPEG technology, puts forwards a Photographic compressing and coding method of progression and hierarchy on the basis of JPEG technology, and compares traditional method with it through experiments.
