This paper introduces the precise determination of total nitrogen in petroleum ointment drastic hydrogen denitrifying process. ANTECK700B elemental analyzer and 735 syringe drive are used, the analyzing result is more accurate and reliable. Repeatability and accuracy test shows relative error is less than 10 %. This analyzing method provides support for the development of drastic denitrifying catalyst.
