Based on the context of European and Russian literature in the early period of the 19th century, this paper inquires into the original course of change and development of the style of the Russian novels, analyses the form and characteristics of the style of the novels by Pushkin, Lermontov and Gogol, and expounds the effect and value of these writers' typical novels among the course of the change and development of the style of the Russian novels.
