On Orientation of Rural Fundamental Education in the Light of Modernization

当前,在我国加速城市化的社会转型时期,农村所面临的新任务使农村教育情境发生了变化。因此,我们必须以现代的视野来审视农村基础教育,准确地理解农村教育服务农村的现实含义,使农村基础教育发展摆脱城市取向或农村取向的限制。从全面建设小康社会的目标出发,确立农村基础教育的大众化取向,使农村基础教育朝着有利于“三农”问题解决的方向发展。

Currently, in the period of social transformation of quickening urbanization of our country, the new tasks facing the rural areas have changed the context of rural education. Therefore, we should think about rural fundamental education in the light of modernization, have a good comprehension of “rural education for countryside”, and make rural fundamental education get rid of the confinement of city-orientation or countryside-orientation. In the light of objects of a better-off society, the establishment of the citizen orientation of rural fundamental education makes rural fundamental education to be helpful to solving the problems of countryside, agriculture and farmers.
