反抗异化,追寻理性,是马克·吐温在《傻瓜威尔逊》中要表达的主题。作为有责任心的作家,马克·吐温不仅深刻洞悉当时美国社会的弊病,形象地描绘出人被异化的可悲状况,而且试图给出以理性对抗异化的解决办法。他成功塑造的威尔逊形象,是改变不合理的社会现实的主体力量。
Turning to reason in opposition to alienation is the theme of Mark Twain's Pudded Wilson. Keenly aware of the flaws of the American society, the conscientious writer Mark Twain not only depicted the people's alienation in that society, but also tried to appeal to reason in opposition to the trend. The image of Wilson he created represents the major force that pushes the reform of an irrational society.
