Ultrastructural Changes in MDCK Cultures Infected with ICHV

MDCK细胞感染犬传染性肝炎病毒(ICHV)BJ—1株后6h未见明显改变;12～18h胞核肿大,核内形成黑色颗粒样球状体;24h胞核内偶见病毒粒子,36h许多细胞内含病毒、病毒副晶体、形态各异的包涵体和多种板层样结构;48h感染细胞核膜以破损或出芽方式将成熟病毒粒子释入胞浆.

Cultured MDCK cells were examined under electron microscope at vari-ous intervals after infection with ICHV BJ-1 strain. No ultrastructural changes werefound in the early stage of infection up to 6 h post infection (p. i.). At 12-18 h p. i. ,the changes in the infected cells were enlargement of the nuclei and the appearance ofdense dark granular globules in the nuclei. Viral particles were occasionally seen in nu-clei at 24 h and by 36 h many of the cells contained virus, viral paracrystalline, severaltypes of inclusions and lamina-like structure. At 48 h p. i., the mature viral particleswere released into cytoplasm by the budding process and by passing through the leak-ages of the nuclear membranes.
