禁忌语与外语教学

Taboos and Foreign Language Teaching

人从一出生到死亡,无时无刻都生活在禁忌的包围和约束下。禁忌语对人们的精神生活和物质生活影响极大,故值得研究。本文从禁忌语的类型、禁忌语与委婉语的关系及会话中误用禁忌语的原因作一些初步的分析和阐述,从而为外语教学提供现实的指导意义。

People live an environment which is full of taboos all the time from their borning to their passing away.Taboos have a great influence upon the people's cultural life and material life.Therefore,taboos are well worth studying.This paper tries to analyse their types,the relationship between euphemisms and taboos,causes of taboos,that occur in conversations and make several effective suggestions to foreign language teaching.
