Effects of Cordyceps Kyushuensis on Fruit Fly's Longevity

为研究蒙山九州虫草延缓衰老的功效,采用果蝇寿命延长实验,用乙醚麻醉法每隔 10h收集羽化出的成虫,放在含有不同浓度的蒙山九州虫草全草粉末的培养基中饲养。每隔 6h统计一次果蝇死亡数,直至全部死亡,由此计算出果蝇的平均寿命和最高寿命。结果显示,蒙山九州虫草对果蝇的寿命具有延长作用,对雌蝇的影响高于雄蝇。提示,从果蝇寿命延长实验可得出,蒙山九州虫草具有延缓衰老的功效。

To investigate whether the Cordyceps Kyushuensis has the effect in prolonging life, fruit fly longevity experiment was conducted to collect the eclosion imago in 10h diethyl ether anesthesia and feed them with different concentration medium. Count the death number one time per 6 hours until all the fruit fly dies, and then work out the mean and maximum life. Results: The Cordyceps Kyushuensis affected the fruit fly's longevity, better effects in female fly than made fly. It is indicated that Cordyceps Kyushuensis has the effect of longing life span.
