To meet the requirement of experimental teaching, a new method of transparent materials' spectral absorption curve measurement, which uses the linear array CCD as detector is introduced. The instrument using powerful computer resource realizes intellectualized spectrum measuring. Results of experiments prove that this type of spectral absorption curve measurement has high precision and good repetition.
