This paper recommend the frequency conversion speed control technique and other speed control technology (just as the voltage of stator's adjusting speed control technique, pole changing speed control technique, fluid coupler speed control technique etc.) have recommended the application of IGBT in direct series high voltage inverter in colliery belt conveyer system, The result is showed that the width speed range is realized, and the system runs steadily. There is very great reference value to design and using of the inverter of colliery trade.
