摘要
本文通过问卷调查和中考英语成绩,运用定量分析的方法,研究了初中学生词汇学习策略的使用特点、词汇策略与中考成绩之间的相关性以及高分组和低分组之间的差异。结果发现有12种策略与学习成绩存在显著正相关,高分组和低分组在4种策略的使用上存在显著差异。本研究结果及发现不仅能弥补中学生英语词汇学习策略研究的不足,而且对目前的初中英语词汇教学具有一定的启发作用。
This study looks into the scores a group of students received from their senior high school English entrance test and the strategies they adopted for building up their English vocabulary during their junior high years, and finds significant and positive correlation between the two. The findings of this research project contribute to our understanding of an important pedagogical issue, and they lend support to the current model of English vocabulary instructions in junior high schools.
