浅谈大学英语课堂教学作用

On the Role of Classroom Teaching in College English

学生学习英语的主要途径是课堂教学,因此大学英语课堂对学生有着极其重要的作用。本文提出大学英语课堂教学应是培养学生学习兴趣,为学生提供真实语言素材和语言交际活动,教给学生学习英语的良好习惯和策略,同时帮助学生解决学习使用英语语言过程中所遇到的困难和问题。

This paper proposes that the main purposes of classroom teaching in college English should be to foster learners' interest in English, to provide real language materials and communicative activities, to train the learners in terms of learning strategies, and to help solve problems they encounter in their using English language.
