本文综述了发展中国家工业化进程中农业地位的理论演进,总结出经济学家对农业作用的认识经历了一个从消极到积极的过程从认为农业在工业化进程中的作用是被动和辅助的转变成农业对国家工业化有积极的和基础性的作用。对于发展中国家解决普遍存在的农业落后对工业化的牵制与二元经济结构问题,特别是中国的“三农”问题有重要的理论意义和现实意义。

This paper makes generalization about the evolution of theory of development economics, which refers to agriculture's position in the course of the industrialized progress in the developing countries. It states that the agriculture exerts positive and fundamental influence on industrialization, rather than playing a passive and auxiliary role in industrialization. It is very important for us to have a correct understanding of this issue.
