On the Distinction Between Dialectics and Sophistry

辩证法与形而上学是根本对立的。诡辩论的实质就是形而上学,却常冒充辩证法。辩证法与诡辩论在概念灵活性的转化是否具有条件性、一般与个别的关系及绝对与相对的关系等问题上有根本分歧。厘清这些区别,对于反对诡辩论,坚持科学正确的辩证法具有重要意义。

Dialectics is antagonist to metaphysics,while metaphysics is the essence of sophistry which often poses as dialectics. There existed several foundamental divergences between dialectics and sophistry from three aspects: requirements for flexible transform in respective concepts; the relationship between universals and individuals; the relationship between absoluteness and relativity. To clarify these divergences enjoys great importance for scientific dialectics instead of sophistry.
