相会洽谈浓——邓小平会见包玉刚记述

Meet to talk over ——Record of Deng xiao-ping interviewed Bao yu-gang

改革开放总设计师邓小平,自党的十一届三中全会以来,在日理万机的百忙之中亲自接见港澳同胞和海外侨胞。其中接见最多的是“世界船王”包玉刚。据《邓小平年谱》(1975—1997)的记载,邓小平曾15次会见包玉刚。“相会洽谈浓”,彼此的多次接触,使邓小平与包玉刚结下了深厚的友情。

Since the third plenary session of the 11th central committe of CPC , Deng Xiaoping , the general designer ofChina's reform and opening up , had been interviewing overseas chinese in spite of his myraid daily affairs . Mr. Bao Yugang ,who shares the title of ' King of Vessels ' , was among these people . According to Chronology of Deng Xiaoping, Deng had metBao altogether 15 times , which gave favourable impressions to both of them , and also enabled them to build a deep friendship.
