通过查阅文献资料、纵观当前遗传工程在体育中的应用现状和前景 ,从运动员选材、运动性伤病防治及运动员机能改进三方面探讨遗传工程对竞技体育的正面作用 。

This paper summarized the main research fields of genetic engineering and physical education after literature investigation. It includes not only the positive effects of genetic engineering on competitive sports form selection of athletes,prevention and treatment of athleticillness and improvement of athletic function,but also analyzes of relation between genetic engineering and mass sports from physical fitness.
