Study on the Water Conservancy History of the Yellow River to Serve for Harnessing the River

研究黄河水利史,可以为现实治河提供借鉴。黄河水利史研究,开始于30年代中期。半个多世纪以来,已由初期以文献编纂为主,逐步发展为多项专题研究,并取得了多项研究成果,其中历史洪水的研究成果已成为治黄规划的重要依据之一,保滩固堤、引黄放淤等治河经验,也先后在治河实践中被吸收。文章认为,当前黄河水利史的研究领域需进一步拓宽,研究手段也需要改进和提高,建议加强相关学科的协作,增加上中游研究的选题,利用遥感技术从事古河道淤积变化的深入研究。

Study on the water conservancy history of the Yellow River could come to some valuable conclusions for current harnssing the river. This study started at the middle of 1930's, and from then on, it has deepened gradually from only compilation to some subject research. A lot of positive results were obtained, in whioh, the research results on historical floods have been one of the important bases for the river planning; the measures and experiences of protecting floodland, consolidating dykes and divering water out of the river to deduct sediment et al were adopted in the practical harneering. In the same time, the paper pointed out that widening the range and improving the method of the study are necessary. Strengthening the coordination with the related subjects, as well as using a remot sensing technique to find out the variable sedimentation of ancient courses of the river are suggested as the main tasks in the near nefuture.
