肺炎衣原体与冠心病关系的研究进展

Advances in research on association between Chlamydia pneumoniae and coronary artery disease

肺炎衣原体感染与冠心病之间的关系一直是近些年来倍受关注的课题 ,并进行了大量的基础研究、血清流行病学和临床研究。早期的研究几乎一致认为 ,肺炎衣原体感染与动脉粥样硬化及冠心病的发生、发展相关 ;近几年来 ,大量相反结果的研究文献不断涌现 ,临床研究也得出了不一致的结果。因此 ,肺炎衣原体感染与冠心病之间的确切关系仍需进一步研究。

Previous studies have suggested the possible role of infectious agents in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis (AS) and coronary artery disease (CAD).In the past decade,many epidemiological and clinical studies demonstrated that chronic infection of Chlamydia pneumoniae (Cpn) was involved in the pathogenesis of AS and CAD,and raised the hypothesis that Cpn infection is associated with CAD.Furthermore,several clinical studies demonstrated that treatment against Cpn may lower the adverse cardiovascular events in patients with CAD.But,recently,more and more evidence from epidemiological and clinical studies suggested that there is no association between Cpn infection and CAD.Hence,the hypothesis that Cpn may be a causative agent of CAD remains plausible but unproven,and further studies need to be done.
