Experience in the Implementation of Health Education in Cardiovascular Surgery Department

作者通过974例心脏病手术患者的护理体会，阐述了健康教育在治疗和护理中的重要性。通过收集资料，编写宣教手册，根据不同疾病特点和文化背景，对患者进行个别讲解或集体宣教示范，使其能够主动积极地配合治疗和护理，从而在减少并发症，缩短病程，减少患者的痛苦和负担，增加医院的床位周转率等诸方面发挥了一定作用，取得了显著的经济效益和社会效益。在此过程中，护患关系更加融洽，医护配合更加默契，护士的自身价值也得到充分体现。

The author through the experience in nursing 974 cases of cardiovascular surgeries,expounded on the importance of health education in therapy and nursing.Collecting data, redacting propaganda hand-book,and making person-to-person explanation or collective explanation according to different culture background were performed to make patients cooperative actively in therapy and nursing.Thus,the complication was decreased,the course of diseases was shortened,patients' sufferings and medical expensives were lightened,the turn-round rate of sickbeds was increased,and significant economic and social benefits were achieved- Consequently, the relation of patient and nurse was more harmonious and the coordinated actions in unspoken between nurses and surgeons were much more acquired. In the mean time,their self-merit was amply reflected.
