摘要
本文阐述了应用我室倡导的群体改良与自交系和杂交种选育相结合的方法选育玉米自交系48—2的具体方法步骤。同时对48—2的配合力、自身产量潜力、抗病性以及主要特征特性进行了研究。结果证明48—2是一个在配合力高、自身产量高、高抗病力的结合上有突破性的“三高”自交系,已配出川农单交9号、川农单交10号、90074三个优良杂交种,具有广泛的利用价值。
Maiye inbred line '48—2' was produced based on the method, which the authors initated, of combination of population improvement and selection of inbred lines and hybrids. This paper describes the steps of the inbred line's development and evaluates its general combining ability (GCA). yield potential, resistance to diseases and expressions of other dominant characteristics. The results show that 48—2 is an excellent inbred line with high GCA, high yield and high resistance to diseases; for that reason, it is known as the 'three high inbred line'. With this inbred line, three outstanding single cresses, SAU 9, SAU 10, and 90074, have been developed.
