城市水空间规划研究──兼谈郴州水空间与城市特色塑造

Planning Research of City Wa.ter SpaceWith Reference to Research of Chenzhou Water Space andCity Character

作者通过对滨水城市的聚落发展、场所形成和空间形态这三个方面与水的关系进行了比较和分析，指出：现代城市水空间缺乏魁力的原因在于对水的意义缺乏认同。在此基础上，提出了改善城市水空间的方法在于使水成为聚落的血脉、成为场所的纽带、成为空间形态的制约这样的观点，并结合郴州古城水空间规划实践对此进行了论证。

This article compares andanalyzes the relations between water and water front cityis settlementdevelopment, site forming and spatial morphology, and points out thatthe uncharming wster space in modern city results from theunacknowledge-ment of the significance of water. Thus the way to improve cityis water space lies in turning water into the blood vessel of thesettlement, the link beween sites andthe restriCtion of spatial morphology.The ideas are expounded through thewater space planning practice for theancient town Chenzhou.
