Yingde Precious Crystal Palace is a well-developed cave composed of three stages. Abundant palynomorph and diatom fossils are found in trial boring Z_(21) that is settled in the second hall on the lowest cave, in which pollens are rich in Pinus and then are frequent with Salix, Podocarpus and Magnolia, spores are frequent with Polypodiaceae, Athyrium, Microlopia and Osmunde, and diatoms are rich in Cymbella, Navicula, Cocconies and Melosira etc.
According to this micro-palaeo-flora, we conclude that the sediments of the cave were probably formed at Holocene, when the cave was submerged by lakes and the nearby hills were covered by subtropical conifers dominantly the Pine-Cypress grown under temperate and humid climates.
