本文比较了怀化师专汉、苗、土家、瑶、侗等民族新生的身高、体重、克托莱指数和身高体重相关系数等衡量体格发育的常用指标，结果表明各少数民族体格发育较汉族差，有些指标差异达极显著水平（p<0.01）．

This paper compares the physique indexes, including height and weiht and ketholy index and related confficient, of Hanzu new students with Miaozu's with tujia's with Yaozu's with Dongzu's in our college. The results whow that the growth of the minority new stndents full behind the growth of the Hanzu's.
