In this paper, the variable of Hamiltonian function was discussed, and we have pointed out that Hamiltonian function is made up of generalized coordinate q and generalized momentum p, we have analysed the questions which theoretical Mechanics has existed, and the meanings of discussing the variable of Hamiltonian function was given.
