Sand-proof and Water Diversion in the Diversion Keys at Xihe Hydropower Station

西河水电站取水枢纽,位于大渡河支流官料河中游,处于坡陡流急,且微弯河段的凸岸一侧,位置不利。通过试验探索,采用加宽泄洪排沙闸孔和简单的束水导沙建筑物,并辅以运行措施,解决了取水枢纽的引水防沙问题。

The diversion keys of Xihe Hydropower Station is located in the middle reach with steep slope and quick water, of Guanliao River which is the tributary of Dadu River, and at the unfavarable convex bank in the slight bending river. After experiments and studies, in order to solve the water diversion and sand-proof problems at diversion keys, gate openings for flood discharging and sand flushing is widened and the simple decrease cross-section sand diversion structure is employed. Performance measures are taken.
