戏台考索

Exploration and Study of the Stage

剧场的构成是戏剧活动空间方式的反映与折射。与西方戏剧不同,中国戏曲是以戏台为中心引入环境空间而形成观演场所——剧场。从历史发展过程来看,中国剧场从平地作场到三面围观的戏台的出现直至重楼宫阙式大戏台的出现,中国戏台有不同的类型。这些形式各异的戏台构成了传统戏曲色彩斑斓的演出空间。对戏台进行分类梳理、溯源寻踪的考索,也就是对中国式剧场的探索与研究。

The constitution of theatres is a reflection of the spatial manner of drama activities.Dif - ferent from western drama,traditional Chinese opera takes the stage as the centre of surroundings,and thus forms the watching place,i.e.theatre.Its performing space is overlapped with humane space.In the process of its development,different kinds of stages from ground stages,stages which enable audience to watch from three sides to those palace-like stages appear in a chronological or - der.It is these different sorts of stages that constitute colorful performing spot for traditional Chi - nese opera.This paper classifies different stages and traces its evolution,attempting to make an investigation of Chinese theatre.
