Nowadays,art education,the core of aesthetic education,tends to be treated as a techni-cal training for seeking a job.By recalling the development of art education,the paper expounds the difference of their objects,objectives,contents,etc.between art education and artistic voca-tional education,and points out the due meaning of art education.
