The recognition and reestablishment of the property laws in Russian's civil law system is the strongest evidence of the renaissance of Russian private law. The validation of the property concept and form, and the reestablishment of property ownership, as well as the protection of property in land and other property rights in Russian new civil law are expounded, reflecting the influence of western civil law and the characteristic of the homeland. The differences between the reality and ideal in the Russian jus rerrem system are presented.
