China's Accession to the WTO: A New Phase for China's Economic Relations with Foreign Countries

文章指出中国入世后对外经济关系将进入一个多边框架下的多领域和全方位对外开放的新阶段。作者分析了中国入世后对外经济关系变化的几个新特点,并认为入世后中国对外经济关系将得到进一步加强和改善,但也将会变加复杂。因而需要我们进一步切实做好几项应对工作。

This paper points out that China's accession to the WTO marks the beginning of a new phase of development of its economic relations with foreign countries, viz. China is going to open itself further to the outside world in more fields and sectors under a multilateral framework of cooperation. It analyzes the new features in its economic relations with foreign countries following its accession to the WTO. It visions an improved relationship in China's economic cooperation with foreign countries against the backdrop of a more complex international scenario, which calls for China's readiness to take practical responsive measures.
