江南分省考议

The Study Of the Division of the Jiangnan Province in Qing Dynasty

在清代 ,江南从一个完整的省级行政单位析分成为江苏和安徽两个省级行政单位。这在清朝甚至是整个中国行政区划的沿革上具有转折性意义的一幕。笔者通过研究发现 ,江南分省是一个从康熙六年开始 ,一直到乾隆嘉庆年间才完成的漫长而渐进的历史过程。在这一过程中 ,江南分省实现了“名”和“实”两方面的转变。并且 ,这种“名”的转变是建立在“实”的转变的基础上的。

Jiangnan province was divided into two provinces (Jiangsu & Anhui) from an integrated one. The division of the Jiangnan province is a long and gradually advanced process lasting from the early years of Kangxi period to the period of Qianlong and Jiaqing emperors. In fact, during the process of the division, the 'name' and the 'fact' have both changed. And the change of the 'name' was based on the change of the 'fact'.
