思想政治工作是一项长期的工作,是培养人、教育人、塑造人的一项系统工程,因此 要提高对思想政治工作的意识,坚持思想政治工作的基本原则,做到思想政治工作的"六个坚持"。

So. improving the consciousness of the ideological and political work and adhering to the basic principle of the ideological and political work are needed so as to help one keep the 'Six-adhering' of the ideological and political work in mind.
